Questions, Answered Plainly

What the room is, what it costs, how booking works, and what it can do for an event, an agency, or a case.

The room

What is ICT Projections?

ICT Projections is an immersive projection venue in Wichita, Kansas. A two-story projection wall and a fully projected floor turn one room into any environment, for corporate and private events, scenario training for first responders, full-scale legal scene reconstruction, and theatrical design work. It is located at 5160 N Webb Rd, Suite 500, and holds up to 200 guests.

How is this different from a venue with a projector and a screen?

Scale and coverage. A conventional venue puts one screen at one end of the room. Here a two-story wall and the entire floor are projection surfaces, driven by an array of high-lumen laser projectors, so the environment surrounds guests rather than sitting in front of them. A trained operator runs it as part of every booking.

Is this virtual reality?

No. There are no headsets and nothing to wear. The projection lands on the actual floor and walls of a real room, so a group of people experience it together and can walk through it at true distance.

How many guests fit?

Up to 200. That covers a full company holiday party, a wedding ceremony and reception, a shift of first responders, or a mediation with both legal teams and their experts.

Do you host weddings?

Yes. ICT Projections hosts wedding ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners and engagement parties for up to 200 guests. Because the setting is projected onto the wall and floor rather than decorated, an outdoor ceremony works in any month, and the ceremony and reception can both happen in the same room without moving your guests.

Where are you located and is there parking?

ICT Projections is at 5160 N Webb Rd, Suite 500, Wichita, Kansas 67226, in northeast Wichita minutes from K-96 or K-254. The space is climate controlled with free onsite parking.

Booking and logistics

How do I book the venue?

Call (316) 364-7840 or email info@ictprojections.com with your date and a rough headcount. We will confirm availability and talk through what you want on the walls.

What does it cost?

Rates depend on the day of the week, the hours you need, and whether custom content is built for you. We quote each date directly rather than publishing a price list. Call (316) 364-7840 and we will give you a number for your date.

When is the room available?

Evening and weekend availability in addition to business hours. Training and legal sessions in particular often run outside a nine to five, and the schedule is built for that.

How far in advance should we book?

As early as you can. December holiday party dates are typically decided in September and October and the best evenings go first. For legal work we hold evening and weekend availability that helps when a trial date is close.

Can we use our own event planner?

Yes. We work with professional event planners and coordinators regularly and are happy to work with yours. If you do not have one, we can point you to planners who already know the room. Either way, our operator handles the projection.

Is an operator included?

Yes. A trained operator runs your content at every event. There is no AV vendor to hire and no equipment to rent separately.

Content and catering

Can we display our own content?

Yes. Bring your brand, video, photos, product renders or a presentation, and the operator runs it across the wall and floor. We can also build custom environments for your event.

What if we do not have content?

Our environment library is included with the booking and covers beach, disco, lava, mountains and sharks. Many events use the library alone and never commission anything.

What file formats do you accept for plans and drawings?

PDF, DWG, CAD and most common architectural and drafting formats. For training and legal work, send what you have and we will tell you whether it is usable.

How does food and beverage work?

Food and beverage runs through an approved vendor who bills you directly, so you keep your catering relationship and we keep the room running.

Professional use

Can law enforcement train here?

Yes. Agencies project the floor plan of a real building at exact 1:1 scale and walk it for pre-incident planning, movement and clearing drills, multi-agency coordination and facility familiarization. It is a projection studio rather than a live-fire or force-on-force facility, so it complements a live training site rather than replacing one.

Can attorneys use the room for demonstrative evidence?

Attorneys use the room for full-scale walkable scene reconstruction in premises liability, accident reconstruction, witness preparation and mediation. Admissibility is a question for counsel and the court and depends on the jurisdiction, the foundation laid and the underlying data. We provide an accurate full-scale projection of the plans and measurements you supply. We do not offer legal advice and we are not an expert witness service.

Can manufacturers validate a facility or line layout here?

Yes. Plant and production line layouts are projected at exact 1:1 scale onto the floor so engineering, operations, maintenance and line leads can walk the footprint and check material flow, aisle and equipment clearance, maintenance access and ergonomics before construction or installation.

Are sessions confidential?

Yes. Sessions are private to your agency, firm or company, and we are glad to discuss confidentiality terms and non-disclosure agreements before any files are sent.
